A day or so later, I got the steering wheeling lock defective warning. Saving money to pay for 1500. It has come on while driving causing it to stall at high speeds making it hard to steer to the right shoulder safely. So I'm thinking great- they're going to fix it. The failure occurred seven times. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were notified of the failure. Very unsafe situation, I work for the united states air force as a safety investigator and if this existed in our air force we would have an immediate recall.

Then most likely steering column lock has gone faulty.
The light comes on and the car will not start. The vehicle was towed to a local repair shop who stated that the left tie rod arm knot became loose.
